What is it for?
Relief of menopause symptoms and hot flushes associated with menopause. Helps relieve commom menopause symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia, mood swings.
Helpful hints
- Regular aerobic exercise (at least 3 times a week) or just walking for at least 30 minutes a day can help minimise menopause symptoms and keep bones healthy.
- Reduce your stress levels (try Brauer Nervatona Calm or Nervatona Focus).
- Make sure you get plenty of sleep.
- When hot fluses strike, drink cold liquids, remove excess clothing and use a fan.
- Avoid foods that could potentially trigger a hot flush such as spicy foods or hot drinks.
- Share your experiences with other women going through menopause.
- Reduce your intake of foods or drink that contain fats, caffeine, sugar or salt.
- Reduce your alcohol intake.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Increase your intake of dietary dibre with vegetablesm fruit or whole grain foods.
- Ensure that you have plenty of calcium in your diet or use a calcium supplement.
Dosage
Adults: 4 sprays. Intially, spray under the tongue every half hour for 4 doses. Thereafter, 4 hourly until symptoms abate. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.
Active Ingredients - Oral Spray
Contains equal parts of:
Amyl nitrosum (Amyl nitrate) 12X, Belladonna (Deadly nightshade) 6C, Lachesis (Bushmaster venom) 6C, Pulsatilla (Pasque flower) 4C, Sanguinaria canadensis (Blood root) 4C, Sepia (Cuttlefish ink) 5C.
Homeopathic product traditionally used for the above indications.
Oral sprays are convenient and have a more rapid rate of absorption when sprayed under the tongue.
Tablets and pills should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve. They may be chewed and swallowed after 30 seconds.
Oral liquids may be taken diluted with water. The diluted liquid may be sipped slowly.
Creams or gels should be gently massaged into the affected area.
It is generally recommended that homeopathic medicines are best taken between meals - half an hour before or an hour after.
Homeopathic medicines should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and perfumes, disinfectants or other strong smelling substances.
Children under 12 years should take half the recommended adult dose.
Check with your health care practitioner before using any medicines if you are pregnant, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy.
