What is it for?
Relief of the symptoms of hay fever, including sneezing, itching, watery eyes, runny nose.
Helpful hints
- Try to work out what you are allergic to and then minimise your exposure to these things.
- Add eucalyptus oil when washing bed clothes to help destroy dust mites.
- Try and stay indoors when pollen counts are high. Avoid gardens and parks that have a lot of pollen.
- Many pets cause allergies. Unfortunately, just putting them outside at night won't reduce your exposure to the sheddings they leave around the house. If your allergies are severe, you may want to consider pet fish or a pet turtle instead of cats, dogs or other hairy animals.
Dosage
Tablets: Adults: 2 tablets, Children 2 to 12 years: 1 tablet. Initially, dissolve under the tongue every half hour for 4 doses. Thereafter, 4 hourly until symptoms abate. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.
Active Ingredients - Tablets
Each glucose tablet is medicated with 250 mcg of each of: Allium cepa (Onion) 4X, Ambrosia artemisiaefolia (Ragweed) 5C, Arsenicum album (Arsenic trioxide) 6C, Arsenicum iodatum (Arsenic triiodide) 12X, Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright) 3X, Kali iodatum (Potassium iodide) 5C, Naphthalinum (Naphthalene) 6C, Sabadilla (Cevadilla) 4X, Sinapis nigra (Black mustard) 4X, Sticta pulmonaria (Lungwort) 4X.
Homeopathic product traditionally used for the above indications.
Oral sprays are convenient and have a more rapid rate of absorption when sprayed under the tongue.
Tablets and pills should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve. They may be chewed and swallowed after 30 seconds.
Oral liquids may be taken diluted with water. The diluted liquid may be sipped slowly.
Creams or gels should be gently massaged into the affected area.
It is generally recommended that homeopathic medicines are best taken between meals - half an hour before or an hour after.
Homeopathic medicines should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and perfumes, disinfectants or other strong smelling substances.
Children under 12 years should take half the recommended adult dose.
Check with your health care practitioner before using any medicines if you are pregnant, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy.
