What is it for?
Temporary relief of stomach ache, upset stomach, indigestion, reflux, diarrhoea and constipation.
Helpful hints
- To help prevent and relieve constipation, encourage your child to eat fibre rich foods and drink plenty of water.
- Wash hands with soap and water for 30 seconds before preparing food and after going to the toilet. This will help to reduce the spread of bacteria that cause diarrhoea.
- Avoid spicy, rich foods and eat small, frequent meals to help control indigestion and heartburn.
Dosage
Infants under 6 months: 0.5mL. Infants and children 6 months to 2 years: 1mL. Children 2 to 12 years: 2mL. Give every half hour for up to 4 doses if required until symptoms abate. May be given 4 hourly thereafter. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.
Active Ingredients - Oral Liquid
Each 2 mL dose contains 2 mcL of each of:
Aloe (Aloes) 6X, Carbo veg. (Charcoal) 6X, Chelidonium (Greater celandine) 6X, Hydrastis (Golden seal) 6X, Lycopodium (Clubmoss) 6X, Nux vomica (Poison nut) 6X, Podophyllum (May apple) 6C.
Homeopathic product traditionally used for the above indications.
Oral sprays are convenient and have a more rapid rate of absorption when sprayed under the tongue.
Tablets and pills should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve. They may be chewed and swallowed after 30 seconds.
Oral liquids may be taken diluted with water. The diluted liquid may be sipped slowly.
Creams or gels should be gently massaged into the affected area.
It is generally recommended that homeopathic medicines are best taken between meals - half an hour before or an hour after.
Homeopathic medicines should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and perfumes, disinfectants or other strong smelling substances.
Children under 12 years should take half the recommended adult dose.
Check with your health care practitioner before using any medicines if you are pregnant, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy.
