Irontona


What is it for?
An iron tonic which helps to maintain normal levels of iron and assists iron absorption. A source of iron which helps promote endurance and stamina during and after prolonged illness.
Helpful hints
- Try to rest while your iron stores recover to their normal levels.
- Eat foods that are naturally rich in iron including lean beef, iron-enriched breads, cereals and pasta and dark green leafy vegetables (the iron in Asian greens like bok choy and choy sum is more easily absorbed than iron in spinach and silverbeet).
- Eat a vitamin C rich food (like an orange or some red capsicum) whenever you eat an iron rich food. The vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron.
